María Bernarda Álvarez Milano is a lawyer, graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 2022), where she received a Diploma of Honor. During her studies, she complemented her training with international examinations (IELTS and Cambridge IGCSE) and built a strong foundation in languages, being bilingual in English and with knowledge of German.
She joined Mallea Abogados in 2025 as an Associate, after developing part of her career at Bruchou & Funes de Rioja (2021–2025) in the Customs and International Trade Department, where she advanced through different positions from intern to associate. Her practice focuses on customs law and international trade, advising clients on import and export operations, special customs regimes, and regulatory matters related to international commerce.
In the academic field, she served as a teaching assistant in the Professional Practice course (Zothner-Dell Aquila, 2023–2024) and in Public International Law (Buis-Ferrante, 2020–2023) at UBA. She also participated in the International Customs Law Conferences (2021–2024) and in specialized seminars on foreign exchange regulations and customs valuation.
