Attorney Eduardo Mallea inaugurates new boutique firm specializing in customs law and international trade

Yesterday, attorney Eduardo Mallea hosted a cocktail reception to celebrate the opening of Mallea Abogados, a new boutique law firm specializing in customs law and comprehensive international trade services, located in the heart of Plaza San Martín, Buenos Aires.

With over two decades of experience, Mallea has been recognized by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, and Latin Lawyer as a leading figure in the field, both nationally and internationally. In 2024, he served as Director General of Customs of Argentina, having previously led the customs law practice at Bruchou & Funes de Rioja.

“Mallea Abogados was born from the belief that a country like Argentina—where international trade plays a key role—requires legal services that are agile, specialized, and highly personalized,” says Mallea. “We aim to provide solutions that adapt to each client’s strategic and operational context.”
This philosophy led Legal 500 to consistently include him in its “Hall of Fame” for outstanding client praise and excellence.

The team offers an integrated legal and operational approach to customs management. Joining Mallea as partners are Sebastián Lerner (customs lawyer) and Guillermo Escudero (customs broker), both with extensive experience in the field.

Mallea is also a noted collector of contemporary Argentine art, reflecting his deep cultural engagement and broader perspective on social and economic transformation.

Mallea Abogados is now positioned as a new benchmark in Argentina’s customs law landscape, offering expert knowledge, efficient execution, and personalized service.
